This illustrated book explores the spiritual, philosophical and cultural linkages between India and East Asia. It covers close to 100 destinations spread over China – Hong Kong SAR, Tibet & Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Mongolia. The book has been written in travelogue style and has 330 photographs as well.
In short, the book echoes the ancient oriental message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutambakam’ – that the whole world of Seven billion people is one family , as relevant at the time of Buddha as it is today.
The book is also a testimony to the living Buddhist heritage that can be admired across much of East Asia.
